Joy L. (Maurer) Callicoat, age 76 of Canton, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 after a long battle with RSV. Born in Paris, OH, Joy grew up in Canton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry C. Callicoat, granddaughter Delanie Rupert, sister Shirley Murphy, and niece LeAnn Murphy. Joy is survived by her children, Vincent (Linda) Maurer, Troy (Dawn) Maurer, Courtney (Ryan Davies) Rupert; grandchildren, Vincent (Missy) Maurer II, Michael (Michelle) Maurer, Stephanie (Jeremy) Cyprus, Matthew (Koren) Maurer, Christina (Jason Smith) Maurer, Abram Rupert; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Respecting Joy's wishes there will be no calling hours or service. "I love you so much as a bunch."
