Julius Lynn Minniti, age 73 of Canton, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 after an extended illness. He was born in Canton on December 29, 1943 to the late Julius and Virginia (Ciprian) Minniti. Lynn graduated from McKinley High School and Kent State University; he was a teacher for Manchester Local Schools, retiring in 1995. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his lifelong friend, Ronnie Hall. He is survived by long time friend and caretaker Janet Hall, and her family Kim, Kevin and Katie Kreitzer, as well as numerous cousins. Family and friends will be received Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Edward Beneleit as celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
