June (Lowery) Cerreta,
June (Lowery) Cerreta (83) died (December 9, 2023) at home surrounded by her family. She graduated from Timken Vocational High School and worked one year at Edward R. Hart Co. while raising a family. She sold Avon (over 45 years), worked at Doctor's Hospital (17 years), Sarta (3 years), and Home Helpers (5 years). Her volunteer work included United Way of Stark County, Willowbrook Woman's Club and the Red Cross. She was a long time and devoted member of Al-Anon, loved her tennis, volleyball, dancing, decorating and playing cards and games with family and friends. She loved her cats Spooky, Magic and Kisska. She was preceded in death by her parents Omar and Carolyn Lowery, her brother Richard Ray Lowery, former husband Louis Cerreta (married 26 years) and her eldest son, Jeffrey Cerreta. She is survived by her brothers Lee Lowery of Alaska, Bill (Anne) Lowery of Akron, four children; Debra McManamon of Akron, Gerald (LuAnn) Cerreta of Uniontown, Deanna Harris and Joel Cerreta of Canton and her daughter-in-law Linda Cerreta of Crestline. She was very proud of her grandchildren Clint, Casey, Jackie, Kim, Tony, Joe, Will, Mike and Josh and her step-grandchildren Crystal and Nate. She also enjoyed her 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Per her request, her body will be donated to science at Neoucom Northeast Ohio Medical University. A memorial mass will be held Friday, December 22 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Canton at 11:00 with calling hours immediately before from 9:30-11:00. The family would be honored to have you stay for a reception provided in the church hall following the service. Come celebrate her life by sharing "Funny June" moments! Flowers may be received at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
