Kenneth R. Marion, age 80 of Louisville, passed away early Tuesday morning. Born in Canton to the late John and Eleanor (Mitchell) Marion he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Sophie (Kafides) Marion on March 27, 2016, brothers John, Richard, Mike, Paul, Fred and Ted Marion and sister Linda Marion. A 1952 graduate of Canton McKinley High School, Ken was the owner of John Marion Roofing for over 50 years before retiring. He was an avid golfer, bowler and all around sports fan. Survived by his children; Kathy and Steve Dimos, Kenneth R. Marion, Jr., Keith and Deborah Marion, six grandchildren; Philip, Angela, Nicole Dimos, Abbagail, Carley, Halee Marion, brother Wayne Marion, sister Florence "Sis" Zalesky and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday (Tonight) from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be held on Friday. Internment will be in Henry Warstler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44708.
