Kenneth "Ken" V. Hastings, age 95 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born in Bayard, Ohio on November 2, 1928 to the late Leland and Margaret (Ramsey) Hastings. Ken was a Milkman for over 35 years, beginning with Hol Guerns Dairy and retiring after 25 years of service with Superior Dairy. He enjoyed bowling and puzzles, and would spend a lot of time in his garden, even at the age of 95. Above all, he loved to be with his grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Richard and Fred Hastings; and sisters Josephine Hastings, Barbara Mascitti, and Sally Carani.

Ken is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Florence Hastings; children Kenn (Dominique) Hastings, Karen (Gary) Alger, and Karol (James) Petro; grandsons Brandon (Paige) Alger and Garrett Alger; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral time and date will be posted at a later date.
