Larry DeCamp, 89, of Canton, Ohio, passed away on June 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of family. Larry was born in Pennsylvania to Laura Howard but lived almost his entire life in the Canton area. He was a loyal 45-year Fisher Foods employee, where he worked as a buyer and store manager. Fishers is also where he met his beloved wife, Phyllis.

Larry was a member of the Meyer’s Lake Sportsman’s Club and Toastmasters, and in his free time volunteered as a driver for the Football Hall of Fame and at the Italian Festival. Beyond his work, clubs, and volunteering, Larry loved cars, car shows, fishing, Cape Hatteras, and spending time with friends and family.

He was married to his wife, Phyllis (Marcanthony) DeCamp, for nearly 30 years. Together they built a wonderful life with so many special friends and family. Larry was a supportive and loving father to Craig (Beth), Christopher (Jennifer), and Stephen Newhouser. As grandfather to Jacob (Holly), Brandon, Evan (Candace), Justin, and Chelsea Newhouser, he never missed their events or an opportunity to spend time and have fun with his grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Rossi Family Funeral Home from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Guardian Angels Parish at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
