Larry P. Tomerine, age 71 of Alliance, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. He was born in Alliance on November 5, 1949 to the late Angelo and Madeline (Brienza) Tomerine. Larry was a graduate of St. Joseph Grade School and Alliance High School. He was later employed by General Motors in Lordstown, where he retired after 35 years. Larry was an avid sports fan and had many hobbies, including fishing, golfing, walking, gardening, and playing cards. Most of all, he cherished time with family and friends. He was a good-hearted man who often loved to "pay it forward."

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Louise Clark. Larry is survived by his four children Trevor Tomerine (Missy) of Hocking Hills, Tara Tomerine of St. Petersburg, Florida, Tiffany (Matt) Hoopes of Minerva, and Trent (Danielle) Tomerine of North Canton. He is also survived by three grandchildren, his sister Linda (Dan) Crowe, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. A memorial service will begin in the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Edward Beneleit officiating.
