Laura Carmella Theresa Lombardi entered into eternal rest early in the morning of April 27, 2021. She joins her beloved husband, Dominick in heaven. Laura was born in West Aliquippa, PA on July 24,1924 to Cresenzo and Mary Ciccone. She graduated from St. Veronica High School and Robert Morris Business College and worked as a secretary at Gulf Oil in Pittsburgh. After they were married she moved to Canton and resided there the rest of her life. She loved gardening and was an excellent Italian cook. She was especially proud of her delicious biscotti cookies. Laura loved volunteering with Canton Central Catholic Grotto and St. Paul's Women's Club. She had a rich, fulfilling life and was kind to all who knew her. Her Faith, Her Italian Heritage and her family meant everything to her. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Viola Cercone, Diana Francis, and Gloria DiCenzo, brothers Raymond and Louis Ciccone, and son in law Richard Vidmar. She is survived by her sister in law Mary Melaragno, Janette Lombardi and many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her loving children Lorraine (Jerry) Jatzcak, Joann Vidmar, Daniel (Teri) Lombardi, Brian (Jan) Lombardi and grandchildren Julie Vivian, Amy Jatczak, Gina Vidmar, Tommy and Lisa Lombardi, Brianna and Craig Comito, Halle and Rocco Lombardi and great grandchildren Ryan and Caitlyn Vivian and Cole Comito. Funeral mass will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Central Catholic Grotto Committee or St. Paul Catholic Church of North Canton. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Comfort Keepers and Aultman Hospice for all their loving care.
