Larry Fecske, age 90 of Canton, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 surrounded by family. Larry was born in Orwell, Ohio, graduated from Adena High school. Larry retired from Canton Ford Motor Co. after 38 years. Larry married Marie Bodnar, 69 ½ years ago. He has two daughters Susan (Jim) Ondrus and Linda Fecske: three grandchildren Tina (Eric) Keller, Tiffany (John) Riedinger, and Nicole (Joe) Waligorski; and nine great-grandchildren and four special nieces and nephew. Larry served in the US Army during the Korean War. He served as past President of St. Michael's Men Club, Avoncrest Allotment, and Swing-a-lings Square Dance Club. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church where he sang in the ensemble. He golfed with the Stark County Seniors Club and the Thursday Golf League. Larry loved to work in his garden, enjoyed golf and loved to dance; square and ballroom dance. He was known to teach the Hungarian Czardas and Polkas to anyone and everyone. He was the best Santa Claus ever, especially at the Canton Garden Center, where he brought joy to hundreds of children. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, Canton, on Friday 4 to 8pm. Visitation, Saturday morning from 10 to 10:45am at St. Michael Catholic Church followed by Mass at 11am. Interment at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
