LENA M. (CARTER) STONE, age 82 of Louisville passed away Tuesday morning after an extended illness. Born in Thayer, West Virginia to the late Ted and Helen (Link) Carter she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Stone, brothers Roy and Robert Carter. A Canton resident since 1951, Lena was a very active and devoted member of Crystal Park United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son Michael Stone of Canton, daughter and son-in-law Nina and Robert Raymond of Louisville, six grandchildren; Sarah (John) Hansen, Katie Kuhn, Michele Stone, Bill Stone, Danielle Neira, Estelle Neira all of Alliance, 11 great-grandchildren, three sisters'; Helen Hammond of Akron, Sue (Donald) Watkins, Eudora (Ralph) Coleman both of West Virginia, three brothers; Terry (Margie) Carter, Jennings Carter both of Illinois, Darrell (Joyce) Carter of West Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Friday from 12 noon to 2:00 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home (730 30 ^th St. NW) where services will follow at 2:00 pm , Pastor Carolyn Nichols officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Oak Hill Manor Care Center for their loving care of Lena. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Crystal Park United Methodist Church, 2219 Mahoning Rd. NE, Canton, OH 44705. As Lena would say, "Remember me how I was."
