Obituary

LEONARD E. BOYLES, age 78 of Canton, passed away Sunday evening. Born in Philippi, West Virginia to the late Vernon G. and Buna M. Boyles, he was preceded in death by his brothers James, Calvin and Gib Boyles and sister Susie Howell. He was retired from Republic Steel after 36 years of service. An avid hunter and fisherman he was a member of the Louisville V.F.W. Post #7490 and an Honorable member of the Tiger Town Boat and Ski Club. Survived by his wife JoAnn (Harris) Boyles with whom they would have celebrated 58 years of marriage in May, daughters and sons-in-law Patty and Paul Morgan, Donna and Kevin Foley all of Canton, Joyce and Terry Poindexter of Minerva, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother Dwayne (Marti) Boyles of Hartville and many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home and Thursday from 12 noon to 1:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm, Pastor Jeff Shultz officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
