Leroy C. Vaught, age 93 of Canton, passed away Sunday, November 24th. Born in Canton to the late Joseph T. and Joanna (Carter) Vaught. He retired from the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He also owned a mini mall and Carter's Used Cars in Canton. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Christ the Servant Parish. Leroy was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis (Rotunno) Vaught, brothers Joseph T. Vaught Jr., Sanford Vaught, and sister Jacqueline Hughes. He is survived by brothers Russell Vaught, Roger Vaught, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
