Lillian Gennett, 98 of Canton, Ohio died January 1, 2014. Born on March 12, 1915, Lillian was the daughter of the late Camilla and Joseph Colette. Lillian was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Saint Michael's Guild, Trirosis, and a former member of Shady Hollow Country Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Q. Gennett Sr. who died in 1990, sisters Helen (Michael) Rocco, Nora (Lawrence) Cook, and Molly (Cleveland) Lane. Survivors include her son, Daniel Q. Gennett Jr., and sister Irma (Carl) Cappy. Lillian has many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday January 6th at 11:00 AM at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Father Donald King. Interment will follow the Church service at Calvary Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at the Church one hour before Mass. Contributions in Lillian's memory may be made to the American Cancer Association.
