(Amatangelo) Antonelli
February 22, 1948 – December 11, 2022
Linda Elizabeth (Amatangelo) Antonelli, 74, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. She was born in Canton on February 22, 1948, to the late Fulvia and Angelo Amatangelo. She graduated from Timken Vocational High School in 1966, and after worked at Blair's Cleaners until becoming a wife and mother. Later in life, she would work for Buckeye Sports, People's Bakery, Christu Bridal, and Longaberger Baskets.
Linda grew up listening to her father play the accordion and would continue this love of Italian music as an adult. She and her twin sister, Barbara, were always close, talking a mile a minute when together. Linda had a genuine loving heart; she loved to laugh and have fun with her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brothers Richard Amatangelo, Robert (Sue) Amatangelo, Ronnie Amatangelo, and Rudy Amatangelo; sisters Jane (Tom) Mock, Patty (Jim) Clark, and Barbara Stepanovich; and brothers-in-law Dan Villamagna and Bob Kisling.
Linda is survived by her daughter and son that loved and will miss her dearly, Victoria (Frank) Failla and Anthony Antonelli; her adoring grandchildren Adriana and Tessa Failla, Natalie and Sofia Antonelli; step-grandchildren Leah (Brandon) Failla and Joseph (Ashley) Failla; five great-grandchildren; former spouse and friend Tony Antonelli; and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by brother Roger (Carole) Amatangelo; sisters Judy Villamagna, Carol Kisling, and Cindy Zino; brother-in-law George Stepanovich; sisters-in-law Norma Amatangelo, Pam Amatangelo, and Charlotte Amatangelo. Linda was a special Godmother to Patrick Clark, Vince Stepanovich, and Joe Antonelli.
Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Fr. Edward Beneleit officiating Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
