Linda K. (Clarke) Nesbitt age 61 of Canton, passed away Saturday evening. A life resident of Canton, Linda was a 1975 graduate of Louisville High School. She graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in accounting. She was employed the firm of Maloney & Novotny LLC. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland sports fan. Linda enjoyed vacationing in the Outer Banks with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father James D. Clarke, mother-in-law Juanita Nesbitt, her dogs Maggie and Rhubarb. Linda is survived by her husband of 21 years, Tim Nesbitt, whom she married on Mother's Day, May 10, 1997. Anyone who knew this couple, knew it was a fairy tale life together. They grew into a caring and loving relationship. As many of you have probably heard Tim say, "Linda was the nicest person I've ever met." She is also survived by her mother Betty (Martz) Clarke, father-in-law Wilbur Nesbitt and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her faithful companion Sophie. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with a Memorial service to follow at 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Linda's name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Stark County Humane Society.
