Linda M. Mahoney age 60 of Canton, passed away Saturday. She was born in Illinois and has been a Canton resident for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother Joan M. (Sheridan) Mahoney. Linda worked as a diamond specialist the past 27 years for Jared the Galleria of Jewelry. She was an active member of the National First Ladies Library. Linda is survived by her father Robert W. (Kate Sibel) Mahoney, her Life partner Gary J. Efanti, brothers Stephen Frances (Beth Conley) Mahoney, Brian Michael Mahoney, niece Frances (Martin) Morris, great nephews Mason and Finn. Including a large extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins from New York, Delaware, Philadelphia Pa, New Jersey, Maryland and Florida. Not to mention many great friends and loving work associates. Linda made friends wherever she went and always saw the best in people. She could turn any event into a celebration. Her smile and encouragement will be missed by many. All will be received on Saturday from 10:00 am to 12 noon at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with services to follow at 12 noon. Internment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Linda's name may be made to the National First Ladies Library, 331 Market Ave. S., Canton, OH 44702 or the American Cancer Society.
