Lori A. (Guthrie) Slaughter, age 53 of Magnolia, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024. She was born in Akron, Ohio and attended Akron Firestone High School. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, rescuing animals, and helping other people. Lori is survived by her mother Rosemary (Armbrust) Guthrie, husband of 29 years James Slaughter, children Daryl Slaughter, Brandi Slaughter, Paige Slaughter, Rob Frasher; sisters Deanna (Stoney) Ward and Angela (Tom) Dickel; and best friends Lisa Courtney and Kathy Young. She was preceded in death by her father Charles E. Guthrie, and brother Jon C. Guthrie.

Respecting Lori's wishes, there were no funeral services at this time.
