Lorraine J. Vitale, age 77, of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. She was born in Canton, Ohio on June 3, 1947 to the late Dominic and Ida (Clement) Spadone. Lorraine graduated in 1965 from Timken Vocational High School. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Parish in North Canton.

Lorraine led an exemplary life. She put her family first above all else. She was genuine, selfless, and humble. She loved with an open, giving heart. Lorraine found joy in the little things. She loved all animals and enjoyed watching the birds out her window. To know Lorraine was to love her. She had a beautiful radiant smile that lit up the room. She had a joyful laugh that just made you laugh too. If you needed to talk, she listened and provided sound, wise advice, making her a guiding light to those around her.

Lorraine is survived by her children, Lisa (Derek) Vitale Arnold and Michael (Carley) Vitale; her grandchild, Grayson Vitale, and her step-grandchild, Caden Posten-Arnold; and her sister, Linda Miracle; as well as many other family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Spadone.

Friends and family will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at St. Paul Catholic Parish at 10:00am with Rev. Fr. Thomas Dyer as celebrant. Entombment to follow at North Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Stark County Hunger Task Force.

Lorraine, Mom, Nana, you are deeply missed.  We are so heartbroken that you are gone, but we celebrate that you are in the arms of Jesus. We know that you are watching over us and guiding us from above for the rest of our days. We love you.
