Our beloved sister and aunt, Lorreen Elizabeth Biasella, age 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023. Lorreen was born on January 8, 1949 to the late Edmund and Wanda (Bik) Biasella. She was a graduate of St. Joan of Arc, Central Catholic High School, and Kent State University.

A lifelong educator, Lorreen retired after more than 35 years from Massillon City Schools. She spent her entire career teaching in the same classroom at Emerson Elementary. Lorreen never missed a day of school due to illness during her teaching career. After all of these years, she still got letters from her former students.

Lorreen is survived by her brothers Ed (Kathy) Biasella and Edmund (Lisa) Biasella; sisters Pam (Max) McClure and Gina (Jim) Guy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in the church, with Rev. Fr. Brian Cline as celebrant. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
