Louis Perez Jr., age 66 of Canton, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024. Born in Canton to the late Louis and Joann (Hinton) Perez Sr., he was also preceded in death by a sister Sharon Tencza. He was a 1976 graduate of Lehman High School, where he played football and basketball. Following high school, Louis played football with the Canton Bulldogs. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed playing golf and had worked for CBS Sports on the PGA tour. Louis was also very proud of his sobriety, and was active in AA.

He is survived by his children Anthony Perez, Andrea (Seth) Lauer, grandchildren Atticus and Atlas Lauer, sister Marcille Russo, niece Rene Feller, nephews Ryan (Taylor) Angelo and Tommy Feller. A Celebration of Life will be held at East Canton Church of God (201 Nassau St. East Canton, Ohio 44730) on Monday, July 1st at 6 p.m.
