Louise M. Chiappini, age 90 of Canton, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018. She was born on July 17, 1927 to the late Mark and Virginia DeChellis. Louise was a 1945 Timken High School graduate, and continued her education at Canton Actual Business College. She was member of St. Mary/St. Benedict Parish, where she was part of the Alter and Rosary Society, parish council, choir and Bereavement Committee. Louise also spent many years as a poll worker for the Board of Elections. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond and brother Clarence. Louise is survived by her children Raymond, Jr. (Susan) Chiappini, Thomas (Debbie) Chiappini and Linda (Ben) Miller; seven grandchildren Raymond III (Alicia) Chiappini, Matthew (Melissa) Miller, Dianna Louise Miller, Michael and Michelle Chiappini, Maria (Peter) Chiappini-Maurer, and Jennifer (Steven) Bouchard. Also survived by six great-grandchildren Adeline Louise, Kayla, Megan, Evan, Lincoln, Charlie Jane; brother Mark DeChellis (Debbie Rupert); sisters Carolyn Kajganic, Florence (Kenneth) Hastings and Margaret Loretto; special uncle Robert LaRocca; and God-daughter Therese Maisano-Schneider. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at St. Mary/ St. Benedict Parish at 10 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Don King as celebrant. Interment will follow to Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Louise's name, to St. Mary/St. Benedict Parish (2207 3 ^rd St. S.E. Canton, OH 44707).
