Louise A. Lattavo, age 97 of Canton, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. She was born in Middlebranch, Ohio on October 15, 1926 to the late Dominic and Raffael Figliola. Louise graduated in 1945 from Middlebranch High School, where she played the saxophone in the school band. She later became a seamstress for the Dalton Sewing Factory, retiring after 30 years. A skilled seamstress, she also sewed for the Cleveland Cavaliers. In her free time, she loved cooking, baking, and coloring.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Lattavo; daughter Christine McCrae; sisters Jennie Gallina and Maggie Mascari; brother Tony "Fig" Figliola; grandchildren Jennifer Lattavo and Matthew "Matt" Lattavo; and great-granddaughter Abbagail Rutledge.

Louise is survived by her children Michael (Sherry) Lattavo and Terry (Sue) Lattavo; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law Tony Mascari.

Family and friends will be received at Christ the Servant Parish on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will begin in the church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made, in Louise's name, to Crossroads Hospice.
