Louise R. Lindsey, 88, of Canton, OH passed away on Wed. Oct. 19, 2016. She was the first born of six children, to the late Guy and Ethel Freeland, on May 8, 1928. She married the late Herbert Lindsey in 1945 and together they had nine children. Louise loved teddy bears and collecting dolls. She also loved quilting and going to garage sales. She was a loving person and will be missed by all who knew her. Louise is survived by six living children: Mike (Pat) Lindsey, of FL; Rose (Van) Bricker, of Tucson, AZ; Alan Lindsey of E Sparta, OH; Annette Lindsey of Tucson, AZ; Tim (Ida) Lindsey of Hartville, OH; and Don Lindsey of New Rumley, OH, as well as one sister, Gladys (Jerry) Baily and two brothers, James (Liz) Freeland and Joe (Lois) Freeland. The children that preceded her in death were: Linda (Elmer)Mottice, Sgt Gene B.(Kay) Lindsey, and Danny (Darlene) Lindsey. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Evermore Community Church, located at 1470 Smith Kramer St. N.E., Hartville, Ohio on Sunday, October 23rd, between 2-4p.m. with a service beginning at 4pm. A dinner will follow immediately after for family and friends. The burial will be held on October 24, 2016 at 9 a.m. at the North Lawn Cemetery in Canton, Ohio.
