LUCY M. (BERNARDO) GIALLUCA, age 96 of Canton went home to be with the Lord at Aultman Compassionate Care Center on Monday November 18, 2013. She was a resident of Canton Christian Home. She was retired from Parisian's as a sales associate. She was a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, William R. Gialluca, her parents Dominic and Madeline (Fleo) Bernardo, brothers Angelo and Anthony Bernardo, sisters Carmel Olds and Mary Valle-Burelli. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her daughter Madeline Meese-Pietrocola (Albert) of Canton, son William (Diane) Gialluca, Jr., of Columbus, her five grandchildren; Annette Meese-Conklin (James), Steve (Monica) Meese, Mary Meese all of Canton, Danielle Gialluca, Jon (Korenne) Gialluca all of Columbus, her 9 great-grandchildren; Blake Boehringer, Mya Clark, Chloe Mason, Cecilia Meese, Dominic Meese, Brock, Tessa, Bella, and Brooklyn Gialluca, a number of nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Bella. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish, Rev. Fr. James McKarns celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Canton Christian Home and Aultman Compassionate Care Center staff for their concern, compassion and care.
