Luigi "Louis" Rinaldi, age 71 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was born in Bonefro, Italy on October 29, 1950, to the late Celestino and Maria (Santoianni) Rinaldi.

Many people in the community might remember Louie as the General Sales Manager of the former Morris Lincoln Mercury in downtown Canton. Along with his brother Joe and his wife Sherry, he owned and operated Rinaldi Beverage Company for several years. Louie was ever the salesman and a continuous entrepreneurial spirit here in Canton, Ohio as well as in Montreal, Canada.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Rinaldi. Louie is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sherry; his son Gianmarco Rinaldi; his grand-dog Tucker, and many extended family members in Canton, Akron, Montreal, and Italy.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist, with the Very Rev. John E. Sheridan, STL as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or Team Greyhound Adoption of Ohio.
