Marcella (Sally) DiCato age 78 passed away Saturday afternoon at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. Sally was born November 9,1934 in Tuscola, Illinois and was the daughter of the late Henry and Myrtle Brooks. She became a permanent resident of Canton after her marriage to Michael N. DiCato on July 18, 1953. Sally was a member of Christ the Servant Catholic Parish. A self employed cosmetologist she owned and operated Sally's Boutique. She also was involved in the Real Estate business. Sally enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing card and board games especially "Scrabble" with her family. She was very proficient with needle work and enjoyed crocheting and made numerous beautiful afghans. In addition to her parents Sally was preceded in death by two brothers Henry and James and one grandson Lucas Kramer. Kramer all of Canton, Deana Ramey (Mark) of Cuyahoga Falls, and Denise Morris (Ron) of Louisville. She leaves behind nine grandchildren and spouses Amy Rohr, Leah Jeffries (Bill), Larissa Smith (Mike), Joseph Rohr, Nikki Smith (David), Beth Ramey, Les Kramer, Rachel Morris and Jacob Morris, four great-grandchildren Britany, Tori, Mason, and William. Friends and family may call Tuesday morning from 11am to 12:30pm at the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1pm at Christ the Servant Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Edward Stafford, Celebrant. Interment will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Aultman Hospice Program or the Compassionate Care Center. Our family would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the entire staff of Aultman Hospice and the Compassionate Care Center for all their care and kindness shown to mom and our family during this time.
