Margaret K. Trapani age 100 of North Canton, passed away Monday morning surrounded by her loving family. Born in New York City, NY to the late Joseph and Marie (Sablatin) Kopf, she has been a North Canton resident since 2006. Margaret was espically devoted to her family. Very active in many civic and charitable organizations while living in New York, she also was an avid golfer and bridge player. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John G. Trapani, Sr, and brother George Kopf who was killed in combat during WW II. She is survived by her children Marilyn T. Dikkers of Manhattan, NY, John G. Jr. and Sherry Trapani of Canton, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 10 to 11 am at Christ the Servant Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11, Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano celebrant. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
