Margaret Ann Mongiardo, age 87 of Canton, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. She was born in Canton, Ohio and the daughter of the late Thomas and Tilli Pacelli. She was a graduate of Timken High School and devoted her life to being a fantastic housewife and wonderful mother. Margaret married her late husband Francis, of 62 years, on June 2 of 1956. Together they led a simple but satisfying life. Summer Sundays were sacred, spending quality time with her boys, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family at the lake. She was an excellent gift giver, and never missed a special date whether it was a team sport or a school dance. Not many people knew she was a trivia wiz. Routinely beating the Jeopardy TV players to the answers. Margie was very proud to be a hospitality minister at St. Anthony Parish and was a faithful parishioner there.

She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Francis Mongiardo, her parents, Thomas and Tilli Pacelli, her brother, Nick Pacelli and sister, Elsie Daianu. She leaves behind her son Jeff (Michele) Mongiardo, Frank (Julie) Mongiardo, grandchildren Steven (Angie) Mongiardo, Nicole (Joe) Kortis, Julie (Dave) Lint, Nathan Mongiardo, Dominic Mongiardo, Olivia Mongiardo and 9 great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Caden, Peyton, Cami, Gracie, Kole, Rylie, Madison and Bryce. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 am, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish at St. Anthony Campus. The funeral procession will form at church on Saturday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
