Margaret A. "Peggy" Ballos. Age 80, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Canton, Ohio on January 29, 1937, the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Bell) Pavlides. Peggy attended Canton McKinley High School. After 42 years of employment, she retired from Fisher Foods.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Royal Nordick and her second Pete Ballos Jr., as well as her son-in-law Frank Domino. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Alex (Mary) Pavlides, Gus Pavlides, Pauline (Tony) Scarpino, Martha (George) Taylor, and Nancy (Tom) Porter.
Peggy was an extremely loving mother to her children Mark (Sheryl) Nordick and Thea Domino and her companion Robert Brill. She was a proud grandmother to her grandchildren Natalia (Domenic) Ranalli, Frank Domino, and Micki (Steve) Newman. Peggy was a devoted aunt to her very special niece Missy (Ed) Waters and their son Aiden, and also many other nieces and nephews. She also had two great-grandchildren Alyssa and Dusty.
Peggy was a strong and independent woman. She was the most loving and generous mother and grandmother; nothing brought her more joy than to see her family together and happy. She enjoyed cooking and baking for them, especially her Grecian recipes. She was an advocate for healthy living from practicing yoga to walking and exercising at the gym. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her life-long friends, whom she loved very much.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated. Friends and Family will be received on Sunday, August 20 th at 1:00 p.m. at Rossi Family Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m., with Father Thomas Bishop officiating.
