MARGUERITE D. (FRYER)(JIALLANELLA) BADERTSCHER, age 92 of Massillon, passed away Saturday evening. Born in Canton to the late James and Margaret (Fields) Fryer she was preceded in death by her husband Donivan L. Badertscher, brother James Fryer and daughter-in-law Nadine Badertscher. A 1939 graduate of Canton McKinley High School she was a switchboard operator retiring from Doctor's Hospital. Survived by her children Marilyn Newkirk of Canton, JohnJiallanella of California, Sandy and John Caffaratti of Norwich, OH, Deborah Murphy of Massillon, step-son Tim and Joy Badertscher of Wyoming, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Terri Fryer of Arizona. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home with services to follow at 8pm. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Marguerite's name to Crossroads Hospice. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Crossroads Hospice and Meadow Winds Health Care Center for all their kindness and compassion.
