Marian Kayler Kienzle of Canton OH, age 96 entered eternal life on February 20, 2015. She was born on Dec. 27, 1918. She was a 1937 graduate of Alliance High School and also a graduate of Mt. Union College. She was a member of First Friends Christian Church. This retired Perry High School English teacher was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm (Mac) of 56 years, and her daughter-in-law Lisa Kienzle, her twin sisters Jean Engle and Jane Heistand and her parents Belle and Frank Kayler. She is survived by her son Scott Kienzle and daughter-in-law Lisa Waterfall Kienzle, and daughter Nancy Utterback and son-in-law Kurt Utterback, grandchildren Ryan Kienzle and Erin Kienzle Gigis, Corey and Steve Utterback, Annie & Ed Waterfall , brother Ralph Kayler of Michigan and great grandchildren Alex and Cathrine Gigis , Molly Utterback and Austin McCauley. Marian is a member of the First Friends Church in Canton. Her priorities were very clear to her-- God, family, others. This selfless lady was constantly thinking of others. Even as she aged she was continually hunting for little things that she could do to help others. She would often send money or purchase meals anonymously for people she did not know who were in need. Those who knew her will certainly miss her, but heaven will be a little better as it welcomes this wonderful lady. Friends and family may pay their respects at a memorial service to be held in the chapel of the Canton Christian Home (2550 25th St. N.W. Canton, OH .) The memorial service will be at 10:30 AM on Saturday , March 21st, 2015 followed by a light lunch and refreshments. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Cross or The Salvation Army. (Rossi Funeral home will handle the cremation per Marian's request.)
