Marie Fecske, age 92 of Canton, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 15, 2022 surrounded by family. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Larry Fecske, whom she was married to for 69 1/2 years. Marie grew up in Rayland, OH and worked with her parents, Joe and Mary Bodnar and brother Bill, at Bodnar's Florist.

Marie leaves behind two daughters: Susan (Jim) Ondrus and Linda Fecske; three grandchildren Tina (Eric) Keller, Tiffany (John) Riedinger, and Nicole (Joey) Waligorski; plus nine great grandchildren and her dog Dolly.

In Canton, Marie was the founder of Holly Pine Lane at Canton Garden Center, held annually for 31 years, and has been involved ever since. She served as past presidents of Canton Garden Center, Avoncrest garden club, Avoncrest allotment and Swing-a-lings Square Dance Club. Marie was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. She loved to garden, cook, and dance every kind of dance with her husband; especially square/round dance, ballroom, and polka.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, Canton, on Friday 5 - 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Canton,  Saturday at 12:30 p.m.  Due to weather, private family burial will be next week.
