Marie E. (Schaffer) Snyder age 90 of North Canton, passed away Monday evening. Born in Canton to the late Anthony and Mary (Burche) Schaffer, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Clarence L. Snyder and grandchildren Connor and Callie Stevic. Marie was a 1946 graduate of McKinley High School. Her career included working for McKesson and Robins, Cutler Realty and Dillards. She was a very devoted member of Little Flower Catholic Parish. Marie is survived by her children; Cindy (Byron) Knight, John (Connie) Snyder, Donald (Deborah) Snyder, Denise (James) Stevic, seven grandchildren; Amy (Vince) Miller, John Snyder, Christine Haddox, Renee Snyder, Lauren (Brenton) Simonson, Matthew (Dana) Snyder, John Stevic, four great-grandchildren; Brandon and Alyssa Snyder, Monroe Snyder, Owen Simonson, sister Pauline (Harold) Sowers. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am in Little Flower Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Leo Wehrlin celebrant. The funeral procession will form at church. Interment will be in Henry Warstler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Marie's name may be made to Little Flower Catholic Parish or the Plain Township Fire Department.
