Marilyn C. Miller (Grisez)
84, passed away March 2, 2023 in Louisville, Ohio. She was born in Louisville to Thomas and Catherine (Becherer) Grisez on April 18, 1938. She graduated from Louisville, High School. She was employed as a supervisor at Nationwide Insurance and later as a secretary at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Marilyn was a parishioner of Little Flower Catholic Parish, serving on the church council and teaching CCD classes. She was a past volunteer for United Way of Stark County where she co-chaired the Suburban East Drive in 1974.
Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, and sister, Joan Garner. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard Miller of Canton, her children, Michael (Laurie) Miller of South Park, PA, Michelle (Bob) Weickert of Mason, OH, Melissa Perduk of Lebanon, OH., ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Marilyn enjoyed traveling, cooking, playing cards, spending time with family, and wintering in South Fort Myers, Florida where she made many friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Joseph Memory Care for their exceptional loving care given to Marilyn, and to the staff at Crossroads Hospice Care for their kind and compassionate care in Marilyn's final days.
Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, 730 30th St. NW, Canton, on Monday, March 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Parish, 2040 Diamond St., Canton, on Tuesday, March 7. A viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. will also be held at the church prior to the Mass. Internment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery in Louisville.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to St. Joseph Senior Living, 2308 Reno Drive, Louisville, OH, 44641 or to St. Thomas Aquinas High School, 2121 Reno Drive, Louisville, Ohio 44641.
