Mario Gaitanos, born November 8, 1958, passed away at his home in Canton, OH on April 21, 2021. He joins his eldest son, Peter Gaitanos; and grandparents, Maria and Panagiotis Bascos and Christoforos and Eleni Gaitanos in eternal life.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Angela Gaitanos; his two sons, Saki and Gregory Gaitanos; devoted parents, Petros and Athanasia Gaitanos; sister, Sylvia (Steve) Stamoules; and brother Christopher (Pam) Gaitanos.

Mario will be remembered for his lightheartedness, eagerness to bear responsibility, and capacity to laugh and encourage those around him to share in his optimism.

Mario achieved success in his professional career as a revered attorney, due in part to his exceptional work ethic and commitment to his clients. He was a lifelong member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church and the Canton chapter of AHEPA.

Family and Friends will be received at St Haralambos on Saturday April 24th at 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 PM.

Memorial donations in Mario's name may be made to St Haralambos Greek Orthodox church.
