Mark Steven Johns II passed away on January 22, 2015 due to a lifelong illness. He was 25 years old. Mark's bravery and optimism through a lifetime of pain and uncertainty, will always be remembered and cherished by those who knew and loved him. A special thanks go out to Dr. James Johns, Dr. Jihad Asfoura and the staff of DaVita Dialysis Clinic. A very special thanks to Josh at Time Warner Cable, where Mark was employed the last years of his life. Survived by mother and step-father: Michelle and Tim Mitzel, father and step-mother Mark and Kellie Johns, sister and best friend Maria Johns, baby sister Alexandria Mitzel, step-sister and husband Ashlie and Justin Richards, step-brother and wife Michael and Mellisa Berzito, grandmother Martha Johns, grandfather Robert Collier, aunt and uncle Mimi and David Bicknase, aunt Susan Cole, uncle Roger Collier, uncle and aunt Michael and Suzanne Johns, and many cousins and friends. Preceded in death by grandmother Rita Collier and grandfather Michael Johns. Marky lived his short life to the fullest and strived to be the best he could be in the face of adversity. This is how he will be remembered to us. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 pm in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Forest Hill  Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Make A Wish.
