MARK "MARKY" VICTOR PRESTIER, JR., age 32, went to Heaven Sunday Oct 19,2014. He put up a courageous battle against cancer and "Fought til the lights went out." Born June 30,1982 in Canton. He was a 2000 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Marky was an avid Cavs fan and the Detroit Lions #1 fan. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Joseph Sekely Jr., Anna C. (Wiley) Sekely and aunt Cheryl J. McClintock. He is survived by his father Mark V. Prestier, Sr. (fiancee' Michelle Althouse), mother Susan (Sekely) Prestier, sister Julie Prestier, paternal grandparents Thomas J. Prestier, Jr and Josephine (Fedeli) Prestier, uncles Douglas (Krista) Prestier, Scott Prestier, Joseph D. Sekely III, Dick McClintock, aunts Catherine A. Stip, Sue Cleavenger and too many cousins and friends to list. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am at Christ the Servant Parish (formerly Our Lady of Peace) with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano, celebrant. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
