Mark R. "Scubby" Young Sr. passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 in his Jackson Township residence at the age of 55. Mark is survived by his loving wife, Mary, his three children, Mark Jr., Jessica, and Kyle, and his brother, Mike Young of Stark County, Ohio. Mark is preceded in death by his parents Louise and Rae Young and his in-law parents, Cordella and Robert Hutcheson. Mark was born on November 6, 1959 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and, as such, remained a faithful Pittsburgh Steeler fan for life. Subsequently, he moved to North Canton, Ohio where he attended North Canton Hoover High School, graduating in 1978. There he met and married his high school sweetheart, Mary Hutcheson. Mark's early job as a sales associate in the Oil and Gas Supply business, would eventually lead to his career as an oil and gas service professional. Mark was a current employee at Canton Oil Well Service, Inc. and BoCor Holdings, LLC serving as Vice-President of Production Measurement, where he faithfully performed for the past 25 years. Mark was an active member of the Ohio Oil and Gas Association, where he was well known and loved by all in the close knit industry. Although Mark was a dedicated fixture within the oil and gas community, his overwhelming priority in life was his family. Mark was blessed to have the opportunity to watch his children grow into young adults and witness there various successes as scholars and athletes. He was very proud of Mark Jr., Jessica, and Kyle. The family will be receiving friends and acquaintances at Rossi Funeral Home on 30 ^th St. in Canton, OH on October 30, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00pm. The funeral services will be held on October 31, 2015 at Little Flower Parish in North Canton, OH at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at http://www.nationalmssociety.org/ , an organization very important to the Young Family.
