Marland "Buzz" Hoover, age 96 of North Canton, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. He was born in Louisville on March 8, 1927 to the late Ralph and Edna (Zwick) Hoover. Buzz graduated from Louisville High School, and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He later retired from BW, where he worked as an engineer. A Great American Fisherman, Buzz loved to go fishing his entire life.

Along with his parents, Buzz was preceded in death by his wife Doris Hoover. He is survived by his sons Kim and Linda Hoover, Randy Hoover and Cindy Boyd, and Kevin Hoover; grandson Tristan Hoover and Richard Cowan.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Buzz's name, may be made to the American Cancer Society at https://www.cancer.org/.
