Martha D. Victor, age 86 of North Canton, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017. She was born on the Island of Lefkada, Greece on February 28, 1931. Martha was a member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, enjoyed being outside working in her garden, loved flowering, baking, cooking and reading. She is preceded in death by her parents Demetrios and Anastasia Kourtis. Martha is survived by her husband of 39 years John Victor of North Canton; brother George Kourtis; sisters Patra Thermos and Hara Palmos all of Greece; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Nicholas Gamvas officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church.
