Mary "Cookie" A. De Dominicis, age 79 of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021. She was born in Canton on September 9, 1942 to the late Edward and Alice (Mansfield) Erickson. Cookie was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. In 1967, Cookie and her late husband, Ermanno opened Ermanno's Pizza Shop. For thirty years, Ermanno's Pizza was a staple in Louisville and surrounding communities supporting schools and various community projects. Cookie enjoyed life to the fullest by loving and supporting her family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ermanno De Dominicis, brothers Tom and Bob; and sisters Tootie, Patricia, Janice, Margaret, and Donna. Cookie is survived by her children Ben DeDominicis, Margie (Scott) McVey, Dominick (Tammy) DeDominicis, and Dawn (Shawn) Gates; six grandchildren Carlee, Jake, Gina Rose, Dominick II (Sydney), Samuel Ermanno, and Shane Alfredo. Also survived by five great-grandchildren Trenten, Abbie, Lillix, Nixon, and Atlas.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church at 12:30 p.m., with Rev. Fr. Robert Miller as celebrant. Interment will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
