Mary L. Brahler, age 95, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at her daughter's home. She was born in Canton, on August 21, 1927, to the late William and Grace (Fausnight) Hammerly. A graduate of Timken Vocational High School, she later raised five children and served as a volunteer for the American Red Cross Emergency Services Canton Chapter.  Mary loved history and reading, she also enjoyed playing bridge with friends.

Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Adrian J. Brahler. She is survived by her children Elizabeth (Matt) Norcia, Todd (Marie) Brahler, Jon (Connie) Brahler, Mitchell (Debbie) Brahler, and Christopher (Diane). Also survived by twelve grandchildren: Michael (Kelly) Brahler, Meredith Brahler, Matthew (Cara) Norcia, Daniel Norcia, Jonathan Brahler, Lucas (Gina) Brahler, Sam Brahler, Karissa Brahler, Adrian (Olivia) Brahler, Nick Brahler, Racheal Brahler, and Phillip Brahler; seven great-grandchildren: Joseph, Zachary, Jackson, Mya, Tatum, Evelyn, and Beckham; and her fourth great-grandchild on the way; and sister-in-law Ann Hammerly.

Mary loved hanging out with family and friends, and she will surely be missed.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 16, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 10 to 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin in the church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Mary's name, to the American Red Cross Canton Chapter.
