Mary Grace Lemmo DeGirolomo.

It is with sadness, love and great gratitude to our mother, Mary Grace Lemmo DeGirolomo that we announce her passing on June 2, 2025. Mary was born January 1, 1926 to Vincent and Vincenza Lemmo who instilled in her a great appreciation of her Italian heritage and strong sense of "Familia." A graduate of Lincoln HS Class of 1938 and an accordion player in the Gatusso Band, she enjoyed the gift of music. Married to Domenic DeGirolomo in 1946, they enjoyed raising their children Donna Simon (Harry), Carol Gannon (Pat), and Jim DeGirolomo (Leslie). They also enjoyed dancing every Saturday night at the Moonlight Ballroom, golfing in the K of C leagues, volunteering at St. Joseph Church and hosting many friend and family dinners where the buzz word heard was "mangia"!

She took great pleasure in caring for her family, 8 grandchildren and 8 great- grandchildren. Always active, she enjoyed her early morning walks, golf dates, Italian American Club Bocci League and playing cards with her "Lunch Bunch" friends. She learned to swim at the young age of 58! Her only regret was that she never got to ride a bike!

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Rossi Family Funeral Home (730 30th St. NW, Canton, OH) with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Guardian Angels Parish at St. Joseph Catholic Church (2427 Tuscarawas St. W., Canton, OH) at 11:00 am. Burial, with her beloved Domenic and parents, at Calvary Cemetery.

The family would like to thank St. Joseph Senior Living for their kindness and care in her later years. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Senior Living, Sunshine Fund.
