IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary C.
(Delgatt0) Kinsley
September 17, 1958 – June 28, 2013
Mary C. (DelGatto) Kinsley, age 54, of Jackson concluded her yearlong battle with cancer. Mary never let the disease define her and approached each day with tremendous courage. She fought her battle with class, dignity and grace that defined the way she lived. Mary was a vital member of her large family that she cherished above all else. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Mary loved crafts and scrap booking, reading, watching cooking shows and delivering one-line zingers. Never has a person used "hmmphh" to express so many different things. Above all else, she was a strong person, which is the only way she could remain a life-long Cleveland Browns fan. Mary, a 1976 graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, was born in Canton and lived there until she fell in love and married David Kinsley. Over the next 24 years, they lived coast-to-coast in seven different states before returning to Jackson where she spent the last 10 years of her life. Mary pursued a variety of careers during that time. She was a travel agent, a merchandise manager, an entrepreneur and a home maker. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Antonio DelGatto; father-in-law, David Kinsley and all her grandparents. Mary is survived by her husband, David Kinsley, with whom she celebrated their 35 th wedding anniversary on April 15 th , 2013; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Katie Kinsley; her son and daughter Anthony and Andrea Kinsley; her grandchildren Madelyn and Emerson Kinsley; her mother, Margaret DelGatto; her parents-in-law, John and Ann Barry, and Ann Marie Kinsley; her sister and brother-in-law; Jennifer and David Cooper; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Kathleen and Harry Zirna and, Christopher and Christie Kinsley; her nieces and nephew, Marissa Cooper, Chelsae and Jonathan Zirna, loving aunts and uncles and numerous cousins that she treated like siblings. Calling hours will be at Rossi Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 2nd, from 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the Servant Parish Our Lady of Peace Church on Wednesday, July 3 rd, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be at North Lawn Cemetery immediately following in Canton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory can be made to the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute at http://giving.ccf.org/donate or by calling 800-223-2273 ext. 41245. The family sincerely thanks the staff at the Cleveland Clinic and Mercy Hospice who gave her compassion and affection while in their care. A special thanks to Yvette Stevensen who treated Mary like one of her own family members.
