Mary Jane (Efanti) Beckwith, 93, of North Canton, passed away Thursday, October 30, at St. Luke Lutheran Home for the Aging. She was born in Canton, Ohio, November 18, 1931, to Angelo and Anna (Pantaleo) Efanti. She graduated from McKinley High School in 1949 and worked for several years at the E. W. Bliss Company. Mary was a member of St. Paul Catholic Parish, Women's Guild and cherished many happy times attending the Bible Study class.

Preceded in death by husband Leslie in 2002, brothers Mario, Rudolph, Joseph, and John, sisters Julia Mancini, Edith Manello, Annie Davis, and dear sisters-in-law Phyllis Efanti and Helen Efanti.

Survived by children Ann (Michael) Neal, Atwater; Kenneth (Laura), Grove City; Lawrence (Laura), Massillon; Sarah (Mark) Williamson, Bolivar; and Kathryn Beckwith, North Canton. Grandchildren Rachel, Bridget, Benjamin Neal; Olivia, Eleanor, Louisa, Rosalyn, Stephen and Bradley Beckwith; special niece Denise Efanti of Canal Fulton, numerous nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Esther Quaraglio.

Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 3 at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, 730 30th St. N.W., Canton. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4 at St. Paul Catholic Parish, 241 S. Main Street, North Canton, celebrant Father Matthew Zwilling. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity.
