Mary Jo Rabb (Hayden), age 80, former North Canton resident of 55 years and more recent resident of Celebration, Florida, passed away peacefully January 21st from complications of Dementia. Preceded in death by her husband Harold F. Rabb of 55 years; parents Louise M. and Clarence E. Hayden; brother Thomas E. Hayden; sister Margaret Ann Wright. Survived by her loving children, Cynthia L. Rabb, James A. Rabb and Amy A. Rabb; sisters-in-law, Carol Aubele, Carole Rice, Sharon Maxon and Lynn Rabb; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, Class of 1959. Mary Jo later retired from North Canton Hoover High School where she worked as a secretary to the assistant principal for 31 years, a job she truly loved. She was involved in OEA-EPAC, and in 1996 was honored to receive the OEA School Support Personnel Award. Mary Jo was a parishioner of Little Flower Catholic Parish. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home (730 30th Street NW Canton, Ohio 44709). A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 am, at Little Flower Catholic Parish (2040 Diamond St. NE Canton, Ohio 44721), with the Very Rev. Canon Christopher Henyk as celebrant. The funeral procession will form at church. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.
