IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Anne
(Kull) Capaldi
March 30, 1931 – May 15, 2018
Mary Anne passed peacefully on May 15th, surrounded by loved ones and caregivers at her home. She lived a Love Story with her husband of 67 years, Valerios. Mary Anne did not know a stranger, welcoming, caring and entertaining friends and family, always opening her heart and her kitchen to all. Although she had a 9 year journey with Alzheimer's, her spirit, and her beautiful smile were never erased. Her comfort and longevity was the result of amazing care by Brianna and Wanda, for whom the family will be forever grateful. She was born in Canal Fulton on March 30, 1931 to the late Charles and Elizabeth Kull. Mary Anne was a 1949 graduate of Lincoln High School, and later graduated from Canton Business College in 1951. She was employed by Diebold, where she spent nine years as the executive secretary. Mary Anne was also the owner and operator of the Renaissance Food Company and Ristorante Capaldi; she was a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish and part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Fashion Show and Luncheon Committee. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Rhea Jane Dent; and three brothers Jack D., Lew and Charles Kull. Mary Anne is survived by her husband Valerios Capaldi, with whom she would have celebrated an anniversary in June; daughter and son-in-law Robin Ford-Rigsby and Tom Rigsby of Dublin; two grandchildren Kendall Ford and A.J. Rigsby; step-grandchildren Katie, William, and Patrick Rigsby. Also survived by her sister Rebecca Jean Shupe. Family and friends will be received on Saturday at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish from 10 to 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin in the church at 11 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
