Mary M. Babics age 92 of Canton passed away Sunday morning at Laurels of Massillon after a brief illness. Mary was born in Middlebranch, on January 11, 1921 to the late Scott and Florence Marshall. She was also preceded in death by her husband Nick in 1998, daughter in law Teddi Babics ,brother Robert Marshall and sister Margaret Ray. Mary was was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, the Serbian

Sisters and she sang in the church Choir. She is survived by two sons and daughter in law Bill Babics of Canton and Joe and Derika Babics of Massillon, one daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Pete Spilios of Canton. Mary is also survived by five grandchildren and spouses Mike and Pam Babics, Nick Babics, Sean and Peggy Babics and Aubrey and Remi Babics, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call Wednesday afternoon at Rossi Funeral Home from 4 to 6 pm and Thursday morning from 10 to 11am with services at 11am in the the funeral home, Rev. Fr. Basil Shaheen officiating. Pomen Services will be held at 5:30 pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will be at Forest Hill cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Akron Children's Hospital Foundation, One Perkins Square, Akron, Ohio 44308.
