Mary Rose DiMarzio (Mikstay), age 89, went to her loving Jesus on Saturday, February 13 ^th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Canton, Ohio on January 26 ^th , 1927, to the late Elizabeth and Stephen Mikstay. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, August (Gus) in January of 2002. Also two brothers Joseph and Steve Mikstay, two sisters Irene Crilley and Betty Davis. Mary is survived by three sons; Dan (Kris), Alex (Diane), Tony (Marie) and two daughters; JoAnn DiMarzio and Georgette (Phil) Weisbrod. She had seven grandchildren; Angie, Chris, Mary-Kay (Matt), Steve (Shannon), Alex II (Melanie), Dante and Jeremiah. There are twelve great-grandchildren. Mary is survived by her loving sister Barbara Mikstay, brothers Jim (Doris) and John (Virginia) Mikstay, her special sister-in-law Ardeen (Nicci) DiMarzio, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 am in St. Benedict Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Benson Okpara, celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Grace Hospice, or the Stark County Humane Society. We would like to thank all the "special" people who took care of Mom with us. She loved all of you.
