Mary A. (Notturno) Zovath

Mary A. Zovath, 93, passed away early Saturday morning. Mary was born to Sam and Realina Notturno on Nov. 22, 1920, and was a life resident of Canton. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic parish and the Miraculous Medal Soldality. She retired from Consumer Publishing Company. Mary's passion was baking and feeding everyone who walked in her door. Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Pete Zovath; daughter Carol Zovath Desantis, brothers Casmir, Joe and Pete Notturno; sisters Jesse Pellegrene, Concetta Vitangeli and Lucy Varn. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Peter and Jean Zovath of Fountain Hills, AZ; daughters and sons-in-law Sandra and Dick Perruzzi of Morrisville, NC and Arlene and Joe Delio of Canton with whom she resided; grandchildren Julie Zovath Kidd of Canton, Gina Perruzzi of Morrisville NC; Krissy and Will Anderson of Durham, NC, and John A. Desantis of Media, PA; great-grandchildren Kat, Millie and James Anderson and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St Anthony's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop as celebrant. Internment will be at Calvary Cemetery. There will be NO CALLING HOURS. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Church, 1530 11th St. SE, Canton. OH 44707. Rossi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
